Migrating from WordPress? The WordPress Importer plugin makes it effortless to bring your content into Waravel.

What It Imports:

• Pages and Posts (with full HTML content)
• Categories and Tags
• Media files (images, documents)

How to Use:

1. Export your WordPress site using the built-in WordPress export tool (Tools → Export).
2. In your Waravel dashboard, go to Settings → Import.
3. Upload your WordPress XML export file.
4. Map your content types and click Import.

I migrated a site with over 500 posts and 2000 images. The importer handled it all in about 10 minutes. A few tips from my experience:

• Export everything — select "All content" in the WordPress export tool.
• Check image paths — if your WordPress used a CDN, you might need to update media URLs after import.
• Review shortcodes — most common shortcodes are converted automatically, but custom ones may need manual adjustment.

Overall, incredibly impressed with how seamless it was!

Does the importer support WooCommerce data? I have a small shop and wondering if product pages would come across as well.

Currently the importer focuses on pages, posts, and media. WooCommerce product data is not yet supported, but it is on our roadmap! For now, you could export products as regular posts and then restructure them in Waravel.

We are actively working on e-commerce integration, so full WooCommerce import support is coming in a future update.
